BECOME A FORUM HEALTH VOLUNTEER AT NORTHSIDE MEDICAL CENTER OR TOD CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL….

We welcome and encourage you to become involved as a Forum Health Volunteer. Your time and talents are invaluable…and to us, our patients, families, visitors, you are a treasure. Our hospital family relies on the extra measures of assistance and kindness shared by our volunteers.

The Benefit you receive as a Forum Health volunteer is a genuine sense of satisfaction from helping others. Our volunteers have a unique opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends, and serve others.  Our volunteer services department takes great care to match a volunteer’s interests and skills to a specific Forum Health assignment. A personal interview, a special orientation to the hospital and personal training within the department to which the volunteer is assigned all happen prior to actually beginning to volunteer at Forum Health.

If you are 16-18 years of age (with parental consent) we welcome you to become a Youth Volunteer. Students are invited to participate year round in a variety of volunteer opportunities in the medical center. For students who want experience in a health care environment you will become acquainted with a variety of health careers.  For those who need to fulfill community service-hour requirements, the opportunities are at your fingertips. Experience first hand the daily operations of a teaching hospital.
